The 2010 movie, Aakrosh, directed by Priyadarshan, is a movie worth watching. Built on the sensitive issue of honour killing that has been rocking India and hogging the headlines for quite sometime now, Aakrosh is a tale of the fight of two investigators versus the society, versus the politicians and even versus the administration. Ajay Devgan- an army sleuth and Akshaye Khanna- a CBI officer have been deputed to find out the cause of the disappearance of three medical students. On investigation, the duo finds it to be a case of honour killing where a medical student and his two friends have been killed for loving an upper caste girl by the Shool Sena, the self-proclaimed protectors of Indian society.
