Shafqat Amanat Ali is the latest sensation to hit the Indian music circuit. I haven’t heard any of his previous songs except for a few well known Bollywood tracks. Shafqat is the son of the legendary Pakistani singer Ustad Amanat Ali Khan of Pakistan. Still wondering who this dude really is? Remember the chartbuster track Mitwa from Karan Johar’s Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna? Yes! It was Shafqat Amanat Ali.He was a part of a Pakistani band called Fuzon earlier. His latest solo album Tabeer is awesome. All the tracks are simply well written, brilliantly sung and backed with great music. I just love the way he sings. I’ll recommend you go get this one, you’ll love him, if you’re into smooth soulful music.
